Chickahominy tribal members Winona and Iola Bradby pose for the photographer Frank G. Speck in Providence Forge sometime around 1900. Speck (1881–1950) was a native of New York and a professor of anthropology at the University of Pennsylvania, where he specializied in Algonquian and Iroquoian tribes in the eastern United States and Canada.
